A LONG HARD LOOK BACK

My first post on my new blog! I was formerly at Diary of a Divorced Woman but allowed that blog to starve to death from neglect.

Looking back on those first posts after I made the decision to end my marriage, I can see all the things that were hiding behind the funny stories and life adventures of being a single woman again.  And it's sad.  It hurts my heart.  I've learned SOOOOO much since that time that, had I known before my divorce, might have influenced my decisions and changed my life.

Life is hard, no doubt about it, but sometimes when you least expect it you find what you were meant to do and who you were meant to be with. It's been 10 years now since I made the decision to end my marriage. I finally came to a point last year where I was content with where I am in life. Did you get that? LAST year! It took me 9 years to reach that point.

If you are recently divorced, have faith. Is divorce part of God's plan? Of course not. Can God forgive you after divorce? Of course He can. Can He still use you to do His work on this earth? You better believe it. When you open yourself up to hear His word and to guide your path you'll be amazed at how much you still have to offer.
